The Fall/Autumn air that begins so suddenly at the end of August every year always brings me back to my anticipations of returning to school for another year. I have been out of school for sometime now but that feeling never goes away.
I miss Junior High School the most. I loved picking out those specific outfits for each day of the first week of school. It was as if I was trying to make a statement to all the new and old friends I would encounter after that long, hot summer apart.
Junior High was the best years of my life. I met all of my best friends there. Seventeen years later, most of us are still the friends we were the day we met. I miss the lack of grown up responsibility and the ability to run to a schoolyard for activities with my friends.
Those days are the days I wish I could have back. These are the ones I would like to relive. As for high school years, I am glad they are over. Those years were tough on me at school and at home.
