When I am not feeling well, it won’t take much for me to whine and cry for someone to come to the rescue and baby me.
For the most part, if I am well but struggling with something, it will take a lot for me to ask for help. Usually I love a good challenge and I am attracted to the fight. If I know that I can figure it out eventually, then you won’t be hearing my cries for assistance.
When I am sick whether it be a cold, cough or upset stomach or migraine, all I want is someone to be concerned and ask me how I am doing and offer their assistance. At the end of the day, this independent woman, wants a man to open his arms up and tell her, “don’t worry, I am here to take care of you, you are going to be okay.”
I guess you can say that I’ve got that “Damsel in Distress” down pat. Old habits die hard…
